Expanded Metal Roll Machine production process flow:
1. Feed the sheet, coil or metal into the hole expander. A little bit of metal can create a lot of mesh, adding value and saving resources and money.
2. Each machine is equipped with a unique “knife” designed for specific patterns. New patterns and cutters can be created in-house for specific applications.
3. The machine is then programmed or manually controlled to ensure the metal expands to exact specifications. We conduct strict quality checks to ensure product consistency throughout the expansion process.
4. Using a unique cutting and stretching process, there is very little waste. The metal is sheared and then stretched in a process, creating holes that cause the metal to expand. The mesh is then cut into slices or wound into rolls, ready for shipping or further processing.
