This mechanism ensures 3-twist or 5-twist hexagonal mesh joins are locked tightly without micro-fracturing the galvanized zinc layer, maintaining maximum corrosion resistance in snow-covered mountain environments.
2. Integrated Hydraulic Flattening, Cutting & Edge Selvedging System
Challenge: Standard woven hexagonal mesh naturally coils and retains surface curvature, making on-site gabion box assembly difficult for installation crews in freezing weather.
Solution: The JIAKE production line features an automated inline multi-roll hydraulic flattening machine combined with a heavy guillotine shear. The flattened mesh sheets can be edge-wrapped (selvedged) seamlessly with heavy gauge border wire, allowing Russian operators to construct rigid gabion baskets rapidly on-site.
