To match the client’s exact output targets and structural specifications, JIAKE Machinery custom-designed an end-to-end industrial setup: a 4-block straight-line wire drawing and cold-ribbing machine, a heavy-duty mechanical 3-6mm rebar mesh welding machine, and an automatic inline mesh shearing machine.

To ensure flawless material flow from raw wire rod coil to finished construction mesh panels, JIAKE engineers calibrated the reduction passes, rib-rolling cassette alignment, spooler tensioning, and welding speed synchronization.

Technical Breakdown of the JIAKE Zimbabwean Rebar Mesh Line

Stage 1: 4-Block Straight-Line Wire Drawing & 3-Rib Cold Rolling

Raw 5.5mm wire rod passes through JIAKE’s 4-capstan straight-line wire drawing unit. Driven by frequency-controlled AC inverter motors, the machine continuously draws the wire down to 3.15mm. Integrated in the line is a precision cold-rolling cassette featuring carbide crescent rollers, which imprints a sharp 3-rib deformed pattern onto the wire surface. This ribbing significantly increases mechanical bonding with concrete. The 3.15mm ribbed wire is then wound tightly onto heavy-duty spooler spools for non-stop feeding into the welding machine.

Stage 2: Mechanical 3-6mm Rebar Mesh Welding Machine (2.4m Width)

The spooled 3.15mm 3-ribbed wire is fed into the JIAKE mechanical 3-6mm rebar mesh welding machine. Key engineered features include:

• Synchronized Mechanical Welding Drive: Driven by a heavy-duty main motor and eccentric camshaft mechanism, delivering high welding stroke speeds and powerful forging pressure across 2.4-meter wide sheets.
• Precision 200mm × 200mm Grid Formation: Multi-channel upper line wire guides and an automatic magnetic cross-wire dropping hopper guarantee exact 200mm × 200mm square apertures.
• Water-Cooled Transformers & Electrodes: Specialized alloy welding electrodes ensure consistent, deep-penetration weld joints on ribbed wires without burning the material structure.

Stage 3: Automated Inline Mesh Shearing (2m / 3m Panels)

As the continuous 2.4m wide reinforced mesh moves out of the welding zone, an automatic inline mesh shearing machine receives signals from the PLC controller length counter. The high-speed cutter shears the rigid mesh sheet cleanly into preset lengths of 2.0 meters or 3.0 meters without stopping the upstream line, after which the finished panels drop onto an automatic stacking table.

On-Site Commissioning & Performance Feedback in Zimbabwe

JIAKE dispatched a dedicated field service engineering team to Zimbabwe to manage mechanical positioning, line alignment, electrical wiring, and operational training. During commissioning, the integrated line operated continuously, drawing 5.5mm rod to 3.15mm ribbed wire and producing crisp, square 2.4m × 3m mesh sheets at maximum design speed.
