High Speed Wire Drawing Machine Exported to Brazil is being Packed into Containers
On December 1st, a wire drawing machine destined for Brazil was packed at our factory. This is the third wire drawing machine we’ve packed since our customer visit to Brazil in September. During our visit, we gained a better understanding of our customers’ and market demands, allowing us to provide more accurate quotes.
The high speed wire drawing machines commonly sold in Brazil are typically 4 or 8 drums. The raw material is generally 6.5mm or 5.5mm low-carbon steel wire, producing different wire diameters such as 3.4mm, 3.0mm, 2.8mm, 2.5mm, and 2.0mm, mainly for welding or weaving wire mesh. Some customers also add ribbed cassette to produce 3-rib wire for welding construction mesh.
Brazilian customers appreciate these advantage of our machines:
- Faster speed: Our wire drawing machines with 9 drums can reach a maximum speed of 13m/s. With 10 drums, the maximum speed can reach 16m/s. Production efficiency is very high; at 2mm wire diameter, the output can reach 1-1.5 tons.
- Longer machine service life. The wire drawing drum is coated with a 500µm thick, 80mm high carbide coating, protecting the machine for over 20,000 hours of use. It also has an internal water-cooling system to prevent the temperature of the machine during operation from affecting the wire, extending the life of the wire drawing drum.
- Stir-type drawing box; wire can be evenly powdered, drawing die can be used for longer, and wire can be rounded.
